Hello all!
I finally did it! I finally finally finally went to an electronic music festival in my life, and now I understand all the hype! This year marks Ezoo's seven year around, and I'm really glad I got to be a part of this amazing moment! A couple girlfriends and I ubered all the way uptown to Harlem, and walked across a bridge towards Randall's Island. It's really cool thinking that we got there by foot. When we got to the island, the security was a bit tight, and the bathrooms were filthy, but somehow being away from the stressful city in an isolated forest island was something out of a dream. I always wanted to go to an outdoor nighttime club, off the coast of some island, and I guess my wish was in a way fulfilled. In my head, I still hope I can go to a 'Waiting for Tonight' nighttime exotic island party, but for now, I'm really happy I was a part of this whole celebration.
I'm really grateful in my life to be a part of all these great events, especially with all the other terrible things going on in the world. I oftentimes wonder, how is it that I can live in this great city in this great country, meanwhile, there are war refugees suffering, being shoved out of their own homes. I'm really fortunate to be a part of the great dynamic city.. and I hope that one day, I can make a positive change in this world.
