CATCHING THE LAST DAY OF VOGUE: CHINA THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Time is precious. It's the one true gift that we have, that is given to us for free, but can never be exchanged or returned. In our consumeristic, instantaneous, digitized world, we try hard to cherish our memories by taking photos, video images, and other forms of media.. but really what it comes down to is catching the right thing at the right time. Time--it's one of the basic elements of fashion. We all look forward to being the first to see the latest and the greatest, and have our hearts pound and melt to see something new, beautiful and inspiring. We all rush to see what's next best thing. But if we can't be the first, then at least be even better, be the last. Today was my moment of catching the wind of the last day of the beautiful Vogue exhibition China: Through the Looking Glass

I was really happy to catch the last day of the glorious exhibition made by Vogue, China: Through the Looking Glass. This show debuted on its first day at the elegant yet fun Met Gala with famous A-listers such as badgirlriri, kimkardashianwest, beyonce, Anne Hathaway, Selena Gomez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Seyfried, Amal Clooney, and many more beautiful and lovely people. This event is meant to be a costume ball, which has a different theme each year.

Some of the brilliantly thought out exhibitions in the past were:
2014, Charles James: Beyond Fashion
2013, Punk: Chaos to Couture
2012, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations
I was really excited and I anticipated on going to the event dearly. Anna Wintour really impresses me with each year. She is always so on-point, and I swear I get goosebumps when I see her work. And as usual, this year's China: Through the Looking Glass didn't fail to amaze me.
